5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely beautiful piece! I needed something to separate a space in a stairwell. I did not want to use a conventional door, opting instead for a more open, contemporary feel…. My contractor worked with me and built a frame around this beautiful piece of art - The material itself is somewhat thin, but fairly sturdy. If you’re looking for a thick, iron field, that is not what this is. This is decorative — Firmness comes when a frame is created for the piece. It works for my space! I love it. Thank you.

US orders may be subject to CBP import and duty fees. The Watered Edge does not bill for nor collect these fees and any funds owed to CBP will be payable before delivery. The allowable threshold for import tax is $800. For purchases over $800, CBP will bill you accordingly. Shipping carriers will act as a broker to collect those fees on behalf of CBP.

Colour Selection
We do our best to show colour options as accurately as possible but colours do vary slightly. We can not accept a return or refund based on colour selection. If you are at all unsure about a colour, please message us for support and we would be happy to provide you with additional photos and links to paint suppliers.
How much do the screens weigh?
Our screens are manufactured using ⅛” thick aluminum which does not rust and weighs approximately 1 pound per square foot depending on screen design
24x36= approx 6/7 lbs
24x48= approx 8/9 lbs
24x60= approx 10/11 lbs
36x48= approx 12/13 lbs
36x36= approx 9/10 lbs
36x60= approx 15/16 lbs
48x48= approx 12/13 lbs
Do the screens come with holes for hanging? What is the the size of the border around the screen.
All of our screens have small holes around the perimeter to assist with mounting & hanging options. The holes are 3/16" in size and are located 3/4" in from the outside edge.
There is approximately a 2” border around the design portion of the screen. This 2" is from the outside edge of the screen to the border of the design.
Note: when ordering standoffs, the mounting holes will need to be opened up to 1/2" which we do in house when purchased with a corresponding screen. If ordered as an individual item, the customer may have to open up the mounting holes on their own.
What is the difference between garden stakes and posts?
The Garden Stakes are a great option for "seasonal" and semi-permanent placement. They will work in dirt, loose gravel as well as in gardens and along pathways. They fasten to the back of your screen using stainless steel fasteners, which we supply. The stake has a sinkable depth of 16.00" and is made of metal vs. aluminium for added strength. We recommend the use of Garden stakes for screens 48” high.
For screens above 48” we recommend posts. Posts measure 1" x 1" in size and are made from aluminium. The posts can be left "as is" for sinkable ground placement or we can add footing options such as a baseplate or T-stand “feet” depending on the surface placement. They are secured to your panel by self tapping screws, which we supply.
Do your screens rust? Can the screen withstand various climates such as snow, high sun, salt spray or other environmental elements?
Our screens are made from aluminum and do not rust. They are able withstand the natural elements as they are coated with an automotive grade powder coat finish that is designed for outdoor use and contains a UV protection component.
Custom Components and Photo Representation
One of the wonderful features of our shop is our ability to customize screens, and we like to show this option in some of our listing photos. We do our best to identify Custom screens in our photo listings and do so by adding the word "Custom" to the listing description. Custom features can include size changes, adding or removing details or a personalized element. There are additional fees for customized screen components. Please contact the shop if you require clarification or have any questions in advance of purchase for custom components.
Product Returns, Cancellation & Refunds
Can I cancel or change an order? What are the fees?
Our screens are made to order therefore we will only accept changes to an order within 2 days from the date of purchase. There will be no refunds on custom orders.
What is your return Policy?
We do not accept returns, however if an exception is made, Buyer is responsible for return postage costs and goods must be returned in the original packaging.
Buyer is responsible for loss in value (as agreed upon with seller) if an item isn’t returned in original condition
What if I ordered the wrong size screen ?
If you contact the shop within 24 hours of purchase we can work with you to get you the proper size screens.
